Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank is unique, specialising in providing business banking services to small and medium sized businesses, and personal banking to those who appreciate service and value.  They are also a member of the Manchester Building Society Group.

The Brief

I was asked as part of my Manchester Building Society Contract to design a new web site for there recently acquired bank.  The web site was to be branded as per the recent re-branding, with the emphasis being on the customers personalised service.
The directors had again specified further emphasis on clean clear and concise content and not imagery.
The site was to be content managed by authorised staff and would also feature the apply online functionality.

Delivery

I created a custom built content management system, enabling authorised staff to add/modify delete products, upload product PDF’s, add news articles etc.

The web site design was created using the branding guidelines presented to me, with the emphasis on clean, clear content and ‘putting service first’.  I included a meet the team section with personal pictures and mini bio’s to further personalise the site.

The apply online application I had previously created for the building society, was modified and integrated into the site
