Simon Roberts runs a self titled successful graphic design and print company, based in Lostock Gralam, Cheshire.

The Brief

Simon had an outdated static portfolio web site which was very time consuming to update. He requested a new web design & content managed web site,that featured the services he provided, a little info about him, his contact details and most importantly his portfolio. The web site was to be easily updateable, included his various social media profiles and enabled him to blog. Simon requested a interactive, dark design, whilst maintaining the current SR branding.

Delivery

I designed and created a custom wordpress solution based around the foliotastic theme, utilising interactive jQuery effects on site elements such as the featured slider on the homepage and porfolio image mouseovers.

The web site is sectioned into blog, portfolio and service / info pages, and is easily navigated using the dropdown top menu.

Social media profiles are taken care of with quick links to the various profiles and RSS feed, whilst Simons latest ‘tweet’ is always displayed in the sidebar below the product highlights links.  Quick contact details are also featured as part of the static footer.

Simon was so pleased with the end result and the feedback he had received, he now actively promotes and commissions me to do all of his web design work.
