Salcura Ltd is an established UK based company. Core activities are centered around the research and development of new and very specific diagnostics, natural healthcare supplements and natural therapeutic skincare products.
The Brief
The MD of Salcura contacted me regarding the expansion of the current business into the US market. He had seen and liked the newly created Sensi Skincare web site and requested a web design very similar, with a different navigation structure and Salcura branding.
Delivery
Using magento commerce as the base system for the ecommerce project I designed, created and integrated a custom theme based on the Salcura branding, which included the large scrolling area for product promotions etc.
The ‘my account’, ‘my wishlist’ and ‘newsletter signup’ functionality is used alongside discount offers to encourage repeat business.
The client had requested a more ‘in depth’ product detail area, because of the large amount of product detail I integrated a jQuery accordion which only displays the details of interest on selection.
Again the ‘out of the box’ web site design solution enabled Salcura Skincare to be up and running in a very short space of time and stay within a very strict budget.
